Management Team

Chairman & CEO

In addition to position as the Chairman and CEO of the Wistron Corporation, Simon currently serves as the Chairman for Wiwynn Corporation and Wistron Information and Technology Services Corporation. Prior to Wistron's formation, Simon previously served as President, Acer Inc. The R.O.C. government awarded Simon its Outstanding Manager of the Republic of China award in 1989 in recognition of singular leadership and management excellence. In 1996, he was named National Chiao Tung University's Outstanding Alumnus.

President & COO

Robert has accumulated over 25 years of industry experience at Sampo, Acer computers and Wistron Corporation. With a strong focus on product design, Robert has managed product development for mobile product lines for over ten years. Robert graduated from Tatung Institue of Technology and he attended the National Chengchi University Business Administration Executive Program.

Chief of Staff

Frank was Management Analyst with Formosa Plastics Group from 1978 until joining Acer in 1987. At Acer he became Director of Accounting for Acer Inc. before being named as CFO for Acer Infosystems in 1991. He received the coveted R.O.C. Outstanding Financial Executive award in 1996. Frank graduated from Taiwan's Feng Chia University majoring in Accounting.

Chief Financial Officer

Henry brings to Wistron experience in several executive positions in financial institutions, including Vice President of Bank of America (Taiwan) and Managing Director of Union Bank of Switzerland (Taiwan). Prior to joining Wistron in 2002, Henry served as President of Ta He was the founder of "The Risk Committee of Bank Association of the Republic of China" in Taiwan. Henry received MBA from National Taiwan University (NTU). 

Controller

Stone was previously Senior Auditor at KPMG and Finance Director at Acer Computers. In addition to extensive financial experience, excellent management practices helped him to obtain the 2005 Wistron Group Outstanding Management Award. He won the R.O.C. Outstanding Manager Award/Finance Manager in 2008. Stone graduated from Soochow University in Taiwan majoring in accounting and obtained a masters degree in financial management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California.

General Auditor

With more than 30 years experience in ICT industry, M.Y. worked for Electronics Memories and Magnetics Taiwan (EMMT) and Acer Inc. before joining Wistron in the current position of General Auditor. Graduating from the Institute of Electronic Engineering, National Chiao-Tung University, M.Y. obtained his Ph.D. in computer engineering. In 2004 he was named National Chiao Tung University's Outstanding Alumnus.

Chief Administration Officer

Terry is the Chief Administration Officer at Wistron. He possesses more than 30 years of experience in the field of administration and human resources. Prior to Wistron, Terry was Associate Vice President of Administration and Human Resources of Acer Inc. Under his leadership, Wistron’s administration and human resources team was recognized for their outstanding performance when Wistron was awarded the National HRD InnoPrize in 2008 and the National Arts & Business Awards — Best Enterprise Culture Award in 2013. Terry holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from National Chengchi University.

Chief Quality Officer

RR is the Chief Quality Officer of Wistron Corporation. Prior to joining Wistron in 2003, he was the Director of Advance R&D Department and the Director of SMT Department at Quanta Computer Inc. He also served as Research Assistant at Chungshan Institute of Science and Technology, focusing on the development of 3D Radar Display Control. At Wistron, RR oversees the Quality Assurance department as well as the CS2R (Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility) team to ensure every production process meets our quality standard and environmental commitment. He received a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Tamkang University and a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from National Cheng Kung University.

Sr. Vice President & President of Computing Products Business Group

Donald has more than 25 years of industry experience at Formosa21 Inc., Acer Computers, ALi Corporation and Wistron Corporation. Focusing on product development and design, Donald has several product related patents and won the Taiwan National Invention Award in 1993 and Taiwan National R&D Manager Excellence Award in 2000. Donald received a bachelor's degree and a masters degree in Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.

Vice President & President of Consumer & Smart Products Business Group

David has extensive product management and sales experience dealing with leading global IT companies across various marketplaces and product lines. Prior to Wistron, David held senior product management positions at Acer Computers. Utilizing this experience, David supported the development of digital consumer product line at Wistron. David received his bachelor degree from National Chiao-Tung University and his master degree in Computer Science from University of California.

General Plant Manager

Prior to his joining Wistron, Kenny served in various positions in Acer computers starting in 1987, helping establish Acer's first overseas factory in the Philippines. In Wistron Kenny has served in various plant manager positions. In 2005 Kenny received the R.O.C. Outstanding Manager Award and won Outstanding Overseas Taiwanese Business Person Award. He graduated from Taiwan's Feng Chia University majoring in Industrial Engineering.

Chief Material Officer

With more than 20 years experience in manufacturing and supply chain management, Ben previously was Plant Manager of Hsinchu operations in Taiwan, as well as General Manager of Wistron Zhongshan operations in China. Ben graduated from Taiwan's Feng Chia University majoring in Electronic Engineering and received an EMBA degree from Thunderbird, American Graduate School of International Management.

President of Service Business Group

William Lin is the President of Service Business Group at Wistron and has dedicated more than 20 years to the IT industry. Prior to Wistron’s formation, William served as Senior Director of Product Management Division of Acer Inc. At Wistron, he was Deputy General Manager of Mexico operations and General Manager of Server Business Unit. With the extensive experience and exceptional managing ability showcased during his service at Wistron, he was promoted to his current position in 2013. William graduated from Feng Chia University with a Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering and earned an M.B.A. from Wright State University.
